Do Gold Foil Designs Take Longer To Print?

Only minorly. While there are technically two processes when creating a gold foil save the date, the overall production time isn’t dramatically increased. You aren’t going to have to wait too much longer to receive your designs.

As mentioned, our gold foil save the dates are printed using two processes. First the design of the invitation will be printed using traditional ink methods. For example, if your invitation includes a floral piece of artwork and gold border frame, the floral artwork will be printed first.

Once the first stage of the printing is completed, we will then transfer to our foiling machine. Here the foil is heated before being meticulously applied to the cardstock.

While there is a minor increase in the time to produce, the wait is totally worth it. You will receive an exquisite, alluring, high quality print that reflects the effort and thought you have put into every detail of your wedding day.
